Hello world! The members-only and early Black Friday deals are still rolling in and Marimekko isn’t one to miss out. The Finnish brand is well-known for their quality, sustainability, and their iconic patterns. While their US site is currently having a sale, so are most major department stores that carry them – like Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, and Saks – and other authorized retailers like Anthropologie.
So the question that begs to be asked is: Where can I get the best deals on clothes and bags from Marimekko this holiday season?

Before I knew about the Marimekko sale, I got a notification that Anthropologie was doing an extra 40% off sale items. I typically browse their sale on sale because sometimes they have some really nice drops on there – like that pair of Favorite Daughter jeans that retails for $198 that I picked up for just shy of $78 USD! When shopping their sales, I like to browse by brand because I know who I like, and who did I see? Marimekko!
I was astonished by the prices that I saw, because I knew that when I added it to my cart, I would get an extra 40% off! Which is when I checked my email and saw that Marimekko was also having a sale – which I jumped onto right away.
Obviously, Marimekko and Anthropologie have some of the same items, but a different amount of stock for each. Some of the sizes that were out of stock at Marimekko happened to be in stock at Anthropologie, and vice versa. This worked out in my favor because I was really hoping to pick up the Kyllikki Unikko, but it was sold out in the M before I could add it to my cart on the Marimekko website. However, I was able to quickly snatch it up on Anthropologie for an even cheaper price!

Verdict: Any pieces that Anthropologie has in stock that are marked as on sale are the ones you need to pick up right now. Anthropologie will likely have a 30% or so off for their official Black Friday sale, but the Marimekko sale prices will be difficult to beat, as 30% of $295 is $208.06, so if you’re waiting for a better sale from Anthropologie, don’t hold your breath!
