A Petite Guide to $99 Denim from Favorite Daughter’s “5 Days of Favorites” – 2023 Black Friday Sales Guide
Hello world! Early Black Friday sales are finally among us! When it comes to Favorite Daughter, one of my favorite brands for quality denim, we’re getting five days of sales, or “5 Days of Favorites” as the brand has dubbed it. So! What’s on sale? Can you get it for a better price somewhere else? Where can you get the best bang for your buck? Well, bearing in mind all of the rewards programs and cash back, I’ve done some of the math for you.

Favorite Daughter (Referral Link)
The rewards program for Favorite Daughter is called Favoritism. You get 1 point for every $1 you spend and a $50 coupon on your birthday, until you spend over $2,000 to reach the family tier, wherein you get a $100 coupon. You get more points every tier you go up, but here’s a really simple beginner breakdown of their rewards program:
- $1 = 1 Point
- $50 Birthday Coupon
- 500 Points = $20 Reward
At Nordstrom, the rewards program is called The Nordy Club. You also get 1 point per $1 you spend. There’s not a birthday coupon, but you do get access to some other fun perks.
- $1 = 1 Point
- 500 Points = $5 on the app only
- 1,000 Points = $10 note
- Additional Perks: Free Basic Alterations, First to Shop Clear the Rack, First to Shop Select Brands, Lifestyle Workshops
At Saks, the rewards program is called SaksFirst. They give you 2 points per $1 spent, but here, 2,500 Points is what you need to get a $25 gift card, which is about $1,250. However, unlike Nordstrom, this tier does not also provide early access to sales at the base tier.

Day 1: $99 Denim Recommendation
I know that we all love a good sale. I rarely see Favorite Daughter go on a deep sale, especially on their website, so when I woke up to $99 denim, I was ecstatic! I’ve struggled to find good quality jeans for a while and when I stumbled across Favorite Daughter, something just felt right.

- Height: 5’3″ or 160cm
- Bra Size: 32G
The Valentina Shortie Super High Rise Tower
As someone who is midsize and has a little bit of a tummy after having a baby, it’s difficult to find jeans that are flattering! I have two pairs of the Valentina style jeans (tower and cigarette) because I loved the first one so much, I absolutely had to get a second pair. They were SO flattering on me and did not emphasize my tummy at all, despite being very high rise. My absolute favorite pair happens to be one of the ones on sale right now! I ordered a size 31
Favorite Daughter’s The Valentina Shortie Super High Rise Tower in the shade Laurel with a pair of boots with a 2″ heel from Marc Fisher. The inseam on these pants is 30″ which is a bit long for me but it seems like the majority of their pants are made to be worn with heals or boots, regardless of height, with the exception of their cropped pants.
In this one, I’m wearing a pair of Dior flats and the bottom of the pants are just touching the ground. If you are any shorter than 5’3″ or 160cm, I would recommend getting them, but also wearing tall shoes or getting them slightly hemmed. T-shirt in the picture is the Conrad T-Shirt from Sézane.
I was actually lucky enough to get these before the sale for a whopping $78 at Anthropologie, so I would definitely recommend shopping around first to make sure that you’re getting the best price. I did a lot of the leg work for you in the $99 Denim Deals Breakdown below!

Okay, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a spreadsheet kind of person. I just can’t help it! I’ve done some research about what’s currently on sale from Favorite Daughter and some other places that they sell it so that you don’t have to.
This sheet also includes the inseam for all of the pants, because as a petite woman of a mighty 5’3” or 160cm, that’s definitely one of the first things I’m looking for.
What’s the best deal?
For petites, I would highly recommend the Favorite Daughter Petite Valentina Super High-Rise Tower Jeans (same pants, slightly different naming convention) – from Anthropologie when they have an extra 40% off sale, because it comes out to about $78 USD! If they don’t have your size, definitely pick up The Valentina Shortie Super High Rise Tower (Laurel) while it’s on sale!
If you are not petite, I would recommend getting the regular version at Saks, where you can get 10% cash back with Rakuten (referral link) and it’s cheaper than the sale, coming in at $91.56 instead of $99.
Personally, I purchased The Valentina Super High Rise Cigarette Ankle while it’s on sale because it has a 28″ inseam. I recommend finding out which inseam length works best for you and making a purchase based on that information!
Honestly, I think the $99 denim sale is amazing and I highly recommend checking it out before the deals are gone! They do roll into the next day (so far), but I don’t think that they’re restocking these until the sale is over, so check them out now on the Favorite Daughter (referral link) website!
